Plyoballs

    Plyoballs are soft, sandfilled balls of varying weights (under and over the weight of a normal baseball) that play a significant role in BOTH the development of throwing velocity and the maintenance of a healthy arm.

    After completing your arm care warm up, this simple plyoball routine will further prepare the arm for high intensity throwing by adding a dynamic stretching element to the shoulder, thoracic spine and and hip/pelvis complex.

    • Have 2 different weighted plyoballs ready to complete each of the drills shown.
    • Complete 1 set of 5 throws of each exercise with the heavier of the two balls
    • Complete a second set of 5 throws of each exercise with the lighter of the two balls
