Luke

Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist

Luke’s love of baseball began playing T-Ball for the Cronulla Sharks Junior Baseball Club and continued for over 20 years including 5 years with the Cronulla State League Club and 3 years in an equivalent league in Toronto, Canada. During his later playing days, he learnt first hand the gains that can be made on field, from the development of strength, power and athleticism. Over the past 10 years he has honed those skills with an emphasis on injury prevention first at the Canberra Raiders, then the New Zealand Warriors and most recently with the St.George Illawarra Dragons of the NRL.

Prior to his NRL career, Luke lead both the Physiotherapy and Strength and Conditioning services for the Sydney Blue Sox, where he was able to apply much of the overhead and rotational power knowledge he gained from working with members of the Canadian Olympic Beach Volleyball Team and the Canadian Olympic Wrestling Team.

He has completed Masters degrees in both Strength & Conditioning and Sports Physiotherapy and is now a titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist. This knowledge, coupled with his experience working in a large variety of sports at the professional level has allowed him to develop a system that will not only help your injury heal, but vastly decrease the chances of it happening again.
